背景介绍

The protein encoded by this gene degrades chitin, which is found in the cell wall of most fungi as well as in arthropods and some nematodes. The encoded protein can also stimulate interleukin 13 expression, and variations in this gene can lead to asthma susceptibility. Several transcript variants encoding a few different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2012]

Western blot analysis of extracts (35ug) from 2 different cell lines by using anti-CHIA monoclonal antibody (1:500).

HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY CHIA (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-CHIA (Cat# BD-PE4427)(1:2000). Positive lysates (100ug) and (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.
