The protein encoded by this gene is found on the surface of platelets, monocytes, neutrophils, and some types of T-cells, and makes up a large portion of endothelial cell intercellular junctions. Western blot analysis of extracts (10ug) from 1 cell line by using anti-PECAM1 monoclonal antibody at 1:200.

Living HEK293T cells transfected with either plasmid (red) or empty vector (blue) were immunostained by anti-PECAM1 antibody (BD-PE0283) or isotype control antibody (green), and then analyzed by flow cytometry (1:100).

Anti-PECAM1 mouse monoclonal antibody (BD-PE0283) immunofluorescent staining of COS7 cells transiently transfected by pCMV6-ENTRY PECAM1 .

HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY PECAM1 (Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 ug per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-PECAM1. Positive lysates (100ug) and (20ug) can be purchased separately from OriGene.
