OPLAH catalyzes the cleavage of 5-oxo-L-proline to form L-glutamate coupled to the hydrolysis of ATP to ADP and inorganic phosphate. ATP + 5-oxo-L-proline + 2 H2O = ADP + phosphate + L-glutamate.

Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Anti-OPLAH Antibody (N-term) at 1:1000 dilution + HepG2 whole cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 µg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1/10000 dilution. Predicted band size : 137 kDa Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

Western blot analysis of OPLAH Antibody (N-term) in K562, HepG2 cell line lysates and mouse bladder, liver tissue lysates (35ug/lane). OPLAH (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human testis tissue reacted with OPLAH Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
