背景介绍

The primary translation product of the APOA4 gene is a 396-residue preprotein which after proteolytic processing is secreted into its primary site of synthesis, the intestine, in association with chylomicron particles. Although its precise function is not known, apo A-IV is a potent activator of lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase in vitro.

Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Western blot analysis of APOA4 Antibody (N-term) in Jurkat, K562, NCI-H460 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). APOA4 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue reacted with APOA4 antibody (N-term) , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
